This is a direct-mail peice, with reply card and 4-page letter, to market a publication
about corporate mergers. Ellen created the blended animal effect using stock photos
and photoshop.

Owners at the time of Fleetwoods, Crescent City and a Red Hot and Blue. I got to meet
Mick Fleetwood from the band "Fleetwood Mack" on this project.

You may remember that Mick Fleetwood came fleetingly to Alexandria about 12 or 14 years ago. I was doing a lot of restaurant work at the time, so I was briefly in on plans for the now defunct Fleetwood's Restaurant. It was at Canal Center Plaza, and faced the river. I had grand plans to do a logo for the restaurant featuring a portrait of Mick. For some reason, they didn't go for it. Maybe they should have, because after a huge, multi-level build-out, the restaurant lasted for about a year or two.
